Eight-division boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao continues to touch lives, even outside the boxing ring.

Earlier this week, while deep in preparation for his upcoming title bout against Keith Thurman, the Filipino boxing icon got to meet a fighter of a different sort in 13-year old Josh Gabazon.

Gabazon, a stage four cancer patient from Southern California, was able to meet with the reigning WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Champion, and will also be attending the fight in Las Vegas, thanks to the Manny Pacquiao Foundation.

“It helps a lot to know that people actually want to help,” said Gabazon.

Speaking of the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, the Filipino boxing icon’s charity is giving fans a chance to meet Manny and be part of his entourage by helping out in rural towns in the Philippines.

A $10 donation to the Manny Pacquiao Foundation earns fans a raffle ticket for a chance to meet Pacquiao and be part of his fight night entourage in Las Vegas.

Apart from that, the foundation also announced a partnership with Rotary International to provide hundreds of people in Southern Philippines with housing.

Manny Pacquiao will challenge Keith Thurman for the WBA (Super) Welterweight World Championship at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, July 20th (July 21s, Manila Time).
